My name is Allison, and I am a pre-licensed clinician finishing my requirements for my license in Marriage and Family Therapy. During my 4 years experience, I've worked at Mercy Behavioral Health and in private practice with individuals and couples presenting with various symptoms.
I look at you as an individual and what brings you meaning and purpose. As we work together I will customize my approach to help you reach your goals. I enjoy helping my clients through life transitions and assisting them as they work towards confidence and independence. I practice from a holistic, non-judgmental framework, and look at you as a whole, not just your symptoms. I respect the courage it took for you to reach out and recognize that it’s an honor to be welcomed into your life. I value collaboration, transparency, and humor in my work and hope to create an environment where you feel safe trying new things.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in clinical-community psychology at Point Park University. I am currently learning more about Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman method, two styles of therapy that can be beneficial for individuals as well as couples.
I am currently only able to provide telehealth services
